Overview
Swap a plain chrome strainer for a coloured Oliveri basket waste and tie your sink in with brushed gold, black, copper or gunmetal tapware. The basket and plug are 304 stainless steel with a durable PVD colour finish.
This version has an extended fixing screw, so it suits thicker granite, composite and vitreous china sinks with a material thickness of up to 45 mm. Push the basket down to seal the bowl, pull it up to drain while it strains food scraps, and lift it out to empty.
This is a non-overflow waste. Oliveri advises that the coloured basket and plug are interchangeable with its overflow waste kits (such as AC10 and AC11). Coloured wastes should not be used in laundry tubs or exposed to bleach or harsh chemicals – clean with mild detergent or soapy water. Check compatibility with your sink before ordering; installation by a licensed plumber is recommended.

Oliveri Basket Waste with Extended Screw Length
This item is a versatile sink strainer and plug designed to be used with various types of sinks, including those made from granite, composite materials, and vitreous china. It’s suitable for sinks with a material thickness of up to 45mm.
Key Features:
- Dual Functionality: The strainer works both as a plug and a drain. By pushing it down, the device seals the sink, allowing it to be filled with water. To drain the water, you simply pull it up, which also allows it to act as a strainer to catch debris.
- Removable Design: The strainer can be easily removed, making it convenient to empty food particles or other debris collected in the strainer.
- High-Quality Materials: The strainer is made from 304 stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and durability. The use of PVC likely provides flexibility and a good seal, ensuring the strainer fits snugly in the sink’s drain.
- Warranty: The product comes with a 1-year warranty that covers replacement parts only, offering peace of mind for users regarding the longevity and reliability of the product.
- Colour options: Brushed Gold, Black, Copper, and Gun Metal. These colors allow you to match the strainer with your kitchen’s aesthetic, whether you’re aiming for a modern, sleek look or something more traditional and elegant.
This sink strainer is ideal for those looking for a durable and functional accessory that can handle the demands of everyday kitchen use while being easy to maintain and clean.
