Puretec CO-B100 FS Taste Reduction & Mineral Retention Cartridge
The Puretec CO-B100 is a high-performance 10” quick-change cartridge designed for food service and espresso applications where balanced water quality is essential. Using advanced Balance+ technology, it provides taste and odour reduction while maintaining naturally occurring minerals in the water to ensure optimal flavour extraction and equipment protection.
Unlike traditional filtration systems that strip minerals from water, the CO-B100 is engineered to retain beneficial calcium and magnesium while preventing scale formation. This ensures a stable pH and balanced total dissolved solids (TDS), helping to deliver consistent water quality suitable for coffee machines, beverage systems, and other commercial applications.
The cartridge also assists in reducing existing scale buildup within the system while protecting against future scale formation, helping extend the life and efficiency of connected equipment.
Key features include a 5 micron filtration rating for sediment reduction, a maximum flow rate of 2 L/min, and a capacity of approximately 2,460 litres depending on water quality and usage conditions. It operates within a temperature range of 3°C to 90°C and is designed for use with Puretec CO-B series systems.
