The Puretec GC051 granular carbon cartridge efficiently reduces unwanted taste, odor, chlorine, volatile chemicals, and pesticides, delivering crisp, clear water for all drinking applications. Its design maximizes contact between water and carbon, ensuring optimal absorption.
Water flows into one end of the cartridge, traveling through the entire carbon bed before exiting at the opposite end. An external expansion pad prevents channelling or bypass, ensuring thorough filtration. A 20-micron post-filter at the exit reduces carbon fines and other suspended particles, while a secure support basket holds the post-filter in place, preventing bypass. This design makes it ideal for drinking water, food service, whole-house filtration, and many other uses.
