The Puretec PL10MP2 Pleated Sediment Cartridge is a high-performance, reusable filtration solution designed to effectively remove sediment and particulate matter from water supplies. Engineered for durability and efficiency, this 20″ MaxiPlus™ cartridge is ideal for whole-house, commercial, and industrial pre-filtration applications.
Constructed from a robust non-woven polyester media, the PL10MP2 provides excellent resistance to bacteria and chemical attack, ensuring long service life even in demanding environments. The pleated design significantly increases surface area, allowing for superior dirt-holding capacity and extended periods between cleaning or replacement.
The filter media is wrapped around a strong polypropylene core for added structural integrity, while both ends are sealed using a thermo-setting vinyl plastisol. This process forms a fully integrated end cap and gasket, preventing bypass and maintaining consistent filtration performance. Additionally, the overlap seam is sonically welded to further enhance efficiency by reducing internal bypass.
Designed for convenience, the cartridge is washable and reusable, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option for sediment filtration.
