Puretec Tanksafe is a liquid treatment for rainwater and stored-water tanks, and the 5L bottle is sized for mid to large household rainwater tanks. Stored water goes stagnant over time – algae, bacteria and odours build up, especially through summer – and Tanksafe keeps it fresh, clear and pleasant to use.
Added straight to the tank, it controls the microorganisms and slime that cause smells, discolouration and biofilm, so the water coming into your home or filtration system stays clean. It is a simple, low-effort way to protect a rainwater supply between filter services.
