About the Hybrid G7 and R2
Puretec describes the Hybrid G7 as combining a dual-stage filter system with ultraviolet protection to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria. The Hybrid R2 is a dual-stage, 20″ indoor model rated at 130 Lpm with a 1″ connection and power surge protection, to be installed in a location protected from the weather. The Hybrid G13 adds a third filtration stage, so it uses a different kit (HR-G13R11P) – don’t mix them up.
Is there a “Hybrid G7 RV”?
“Puretec Hybrid G7 RV” is one of our most-searched phrases, but the Puretec information we hold does not list an RV version of the Hybrid G7. How often should G7 / R2 parts be replaced?
Puretec’s material for the G7 and R2 that we hold does not give a fixed interval, so follow your user guide. As a guide, for its newer Hybrid E series Puretec says to replace the UV lamp once a year and periodically clean the sleeve.
