Puretec PureMix Z Series Cartridges: Z1-R, Z2-R, Z6-R, Z7-R

Puretec Z Series replacement cartridges – why select a Z Series

Each Puretec quick-twist system uses its own cartridge: the PureMix Z6 takes the Z6-R, the PureMix Z7 takes the Z7-R, the PureMix Z2 and CR-Z2 take the Z2-R, the PureMix X7 takes the X7-R, and Puretec Z1 systems (Z1-T series, Tripla Elite Z1 kits and the Z18) take the Z1-R. Check the code on your existing cartridge label to confirm before ordering.

  • Z1-R – 10″, 3-stage filtration to 0.1 micron; reduces chlorine, pesticides, bad taste, odours, organic chemicals, bacteria, dirt and rust, and up to 99.9% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
  • X7-R – dual-purpose pleated cartridge for PureMix X7 systems that reduces sediment, chlorine, taste and odours.

Changing a quick-twist cartridge

Puretec’s valve-in-head design means you don’t need to turn off the water. Rotate the old cartridge a quarter turn and remove it, line up the points on the new cartridge and twist it into the head, then flush for 5–10 minutes or until the water runs clear. Full steps are in our cartridge changing guide.

System not listed?
