Puretec’s HybridCare kits are matched to system size: the HR-EI6 suits the Hybrid E6 and I6; the HR-EI7 suits the Hybrid E7, E7 AMC and I7; and the HR-EI13 suits the Hybrid E13, E13 AMC and I13. Each kit includes genuine replacement cartridges, an RL7 UV replacement lamp, a quartz sleeve and 2 O-rings, and Puretec says the replacement takes minutes with no special tools.

Puretec doesn’t state a fixed interval for the filter cartridges in the material we hold; replace them as your user guide directs, or sooner if flow drops or taste and odour return.
What’s in each kit
- HR-EI6 – 10″ MaxiPlus pleated sediment filter, taste and odour removal filter, RL7 UV lamp, quartz sleeve and 2 O-rings.
- HR-EI7 – 20″ MaxiPlus pleated sediment filter, taste and odour removal filter, RL7 UV lamp, quartz sleeve and 2 O-rings.
- HR-EI13 – 20″ MaxiPlus pleated sediment cartridge, taste and odour removal filter, solid sediment filter, RL7 UV lamp, quartz sleeve and 2 O-rings (one extra cartridge for the third stage).
- HR-ESR2M1 – PL051 washable pleated sediment cartridge, MC011 silver-impregnated moulded carbon cartridge, RL2 UV lamp, RQS2 quartz sleeve and 2 ROR2 O-rings.
E series, AMC or I series?
- Hybrid E – wall-mount filtration and Radfire™ UV systems for rainwater and mains; E6 (10″) for homes with 1 bathroom, E7 and E13 (20″) for 2+ bathrooms.
- AMC models – add an architecturally mounted aluminium cover with ToolNest bowl spanner storage, and a 5-year warranty.
- Hybrid I – the I6, I7 and I13 are reversible models for indoor installation.
The kits are shared across E, AMC and I versions of the same size, so you only need to know whether your system is a 6, 7 or 13.
Servicing tips
- Switch off the power to the UV unit and isolate the water before opening the housings.
- Puretec’s Hybrid E systems have a UV lamp count-down timer and alarm to remind you when the lamp is due.
- The first-stage coarse sediment cartridge is washable, according to Puretec’s brochure.
- Use genuine parts – Puretec says they support your warranty and extend system life.

Does the HR-EI7 fit the Hybrid E7 AMC?
Yes. Puretec states the HR-EI7 suits the Hybrid E7, Hybrid E7 AMC and Hybrid I7.
What is the difference between the HR-EI7 and HR-EI13?
The HR-EI13 includes an extra solid sediment filter for the third filtration stage of the Hybrid E13, E13 AMC and I13. Both include an RL7 UV lamp, quartz sleeve and 2 O-rings.
How often should I replace the UV lamp?
Puretec says Hybrid E maintenance is as easy as replacing the UV lamp once a year and periodically cleaning the sleeve. The systems include a UV lamp count-down timer and alarm.
Does the HR-G7R2 kit fit a Hybrid E7?
No. The HR-G7R2 is for the older Hybrid G7 and R2 systems. Hybrid E7, E7 AMC and I7 systems use the HR-EI7.
