The SOL30-E3 is a WaterMark approved water softener designed to reduce water hardness and protect your pipes and appliances from scale buildup. Unlike time-based systems, the SOL30-E3 uses volumetric regeneration, meaning it only backwashes when necessary. This intelligent process helps save both water and salt while keeping maintenance low.

Hard water is water that contains dissolved minerals such as limestone, iron, sulphur, magnesium and calcium. If these minerals are not removed from your water, they will cause scaling, eventually blocking plumbing and shortening the life of appliances – particularly hot water units, dishwashers, washing machines, etc.

Minerals found in hard water build up in appliances such as hot water systems and dishwashers reducing their service life and making them less efficient. Soft water saves you money by replacing them less often and saves the environment by cutting waste.

*Based on a hardness of 100ppm. Note: Chlorine (free chlorine) tolerance is 1ppm – high chlorine levels permanently damage the softening resin & is not covered under warranty. If chlorine exceeds this limit, we recommend a carbon pre-filter such as the WH2 or CFS Series. Please refer to Puretec for a specific recommendation. In any case, a carbon pre-filter is recommended to protect against chlorine spikes & prolong the resin life.
**** The warranty on the SOL system remains 6 years by default, but extends to 10 years* when the following conditions are met:
1. The SOL system must be installed with one of the following Puretec pre-filters:
WH2-55
FilterWall-F4, FilterWall-F5, FilterWall-F6
2. Both genuine Puretec cartridges and Softrol™ media must be routinely replaced per product instructions.
